Mount Hood Short Video is Released

I’ve released the High Point Short video for Oregon’s Mount Hood on our YouTube Channel. Four years ago at the most opportune time so ski the peak in the end of May I skied the Old Chute and ZigZag Glacier during a day with good visibility. The top 1000′ was sketchy and icy and I skied cautiously. Many have fallen here onto the hot rocks below. At the ZigZag headwall I encountered the best corn ever, nice and creamy!  Northwestern snow is known for being wet and sticky, it can stick to 80 degree cliffs and form the steepest skiing possible in the US. At the headwall I found fun super steep turns under perfect snow. The glacier was a nice mellow cool down of a ski above the clouds.
